Lets make a difference - Running for Sophia

The Erasmus MC Sophia Children’s Hospital provides care for children with rare and complex disorders. The Sophia is part of the Erasmus Medical Centre and is affiliated with the Erasmus University Rotterdam. A visit to the Emergency Department is often the first contact with the hospital for children – about 8,000 a year. The moment is usually unexpected and research shows that a large proportion of children experience stress as a result. That is why we want to make the treatment rooms in the Emergency Department of the Sophia Children's Hospital more child-friendly.
